What defines every day how you look and feel?
Right, your clothes.
So how much do you know about your clothes?
Do you know where your clothes come from?
Yep, from the store, and before that? Check the label:
Some far away country, like a lot of things around you. That’s where the search can end. Because it may feel as if they’re made, like a lot of the products you use, in a factory, by some anonymous machine. That could explain why the price is so low. But actually somebody made your clothes. By hand.
but actually somebody
made your clothes.
Somebody has sown it together, on a machine. Like your jeans: Somebody has picked the cotton, fabric was woven, died in some pretty tone of indigo, fabric was cut and sown together, and then sandblasted or ripped again, so you can wear something that looks used.
here’s a little thank you,
for all those anonymous people –
who made my clothes
So somebody anonymous made your clothes – what would you wear without them?
Actually, not much- so here’s a little thank you, for all those anonymous people –who made my clothes: What would I wear without you?
We need revolution of love! Love for what you wear!
How can you support the Fashion Revolution Week?
